How to use potatoes for Dark circles under eyes

You're probably accustomed to having your potatoes mashed, baked or fried, but putting them on your face is a completely different story. Potatoes have an uncanny ability to stay cold for long periods; they also transfer antioxidants, such as vitamin C, and other nutrients to your skin. These qualities make potatoes as good as cucumbers when it comes to reducing dark circles under the eyes. Potatoes contain enzymes, vitamin C and starch that nourish the thin skin around the eyes. The coldness of the potato also helps to reduce swelling and inflammation of the vessels underneath the eye to minimize a dark, tired appearance.

How to use potatoes for Dark circles under eyes

Take a raw potato and slice it into thin pieces. Place 1-1 slices under both the eyes and relax yourself for 30 minutes. Apply this remedy twice every day. If there is puffiness along with the dark circles then apply a mixture of potato juice with same quantity of cucumber juice to reduce it. Also, you can simply apply raw potato for reducing dark circles by refrigerating a potato before cutting it into thin pieces. Place it over the affected area for 15-20 minutes. Repeat this process 2-3 times a day. Furthermore, you can also blend the raw potato until it becomes a thick puree. Apply this potato puree on the dark circles under your eyes and leave it for 25-30 minutes. Then, wash it off with fresh water. For better result, practice this homemade remedy two times daily.
