How to apply Eyeliner

Eyeliner makes a huge difference—it can take a basic eye makeup application to a fully-realized look that accentuates your lashes and the shape of your eye. Eyeliner can be se*y, elegant, or subtle, but it also can be harsh, overly dramatic, or sloppy—it all depends on how you apply it. Applying eyeliner to maximize your eye contour and size takes a bit of experimenting, but once you've mastered it, eyeliner will take your makeup look to a whole new level. Below we explain everything you need to know about how to select and apply the right eyeliner to complete your look!

Step 1:

Choose your Eyeliner. What type of eyeliner you use is purely a personal choice. Each has pros and cons you need to know before shopping. Here I am going to use liquid eyeliner. but now you need to choose the best application style for you. Liquid eyeliner comes in two main types: felt tip and a dip-brush.
·                     Felt tip liquid eyeliner is very similar to a marker, and has the eyeliner fed through it like a pen.

·                     A dip-brush liquid eyeliner is similar to nail polish in that it comes with a small bottle of the eyeliner with a brush that must be dipped in in between each application.

Step 2:

Starting from the middle of your eyes, where the liner stripe should begin to thicken, begin drawing short dashes along your lash lines. The dashes should extend slightly past the outer corners of your eyes. Sketching ticks instead of painting one long swoop enables more control. Another tip: use a finger on your opposite hand to lift your eyelids slightly. When your skin is taut, you can draw as closely to yourlashes as possible.

Step 3:

Without adding more product to your brush, go back to the center of your eyes and paint short strokes until you reach your tear ducts. To get the leanest line and to target the hard-to-reach inner rims, use the tip of your brush and look up and outward in a mirror.

Step 4:

To finish your look, dip a pointy Q-tip in an oil-free makeup remover and drag it along the edges of your liner to clean up any wayward strokes. Be sure to let the liner dry before fully opening your eyes to prevent the ink from imprinting onto the creases.

If you also want to apply eyeliner to the bottom lid then follow these steps :

1.  Put one finger under your bottom eyelid and pull it down gently. This is where you will apply the eyeliner.

2.  Grab your eyeliner and make sure it is not blunt. Blunt eyeliner is more difficult to apply to the bottom lid.

3.  Start from the outer edge of the eyelid. Draw a line at the outer edge and go over it as many times as you like. This creates a more dramatic look !

4.  Now draw a line from the outer edge of the lid all the way to the inner lid and line it as many times as you want again.

Now all done. Look into the mirror at your beautiful and glamorous   eyes.
