How to get whiter teeth

What whitening product should you use when I only have two months to whiten? Two weeks? Two days?
From teenagers to baby boomers, everyone wants to have whiter smile. Your smile is one of the first things people notice about you, and a flawlessly bright smile indicates health, vigor and of course, beauty.

The whitening craze started over a decade ago, when strips and professional whitening lights were introduced to the market, creating a new industry overnight. Have your pearly whites lost their luster because of dingy gray or yellow stains? Stained teeth can occur as we age, but some common foods, drinks, and even mouthwashes can stain teeth. Do-it-yourself remedies can help whiten teeth, and avoiding substances that stain teeth can stop further discoloration. Use these secrets to whiter teeth to restore your bright smile.
Way to get whiter teeth
v Rubbing the inside fibrous part of the peel, of a ripe banana, makes your teeth sparkle.

v  Juice of half a lemon when rubbed firmly but gently on the teeth removes yellow stains and tartar.

v  Half a teaspoon of baking soda to which a pinch of salt is added and rubbed on the teeth with a fingertip shows excellent results.

v Use the inside of an orange peel to rub the teeth for good results.

v Munching on crunchy fruits and vegetables like apples, carrots, cucumber, celery and parsley help in removing stains on teeth.

v Find the appropriate whitening strips. They should be approved by the American Dental Association (ADA) and shouldn't contain chlorine dioxide, which can actually damage your enamel. Whitening strips should be made of polyethylene and you can find them at your local drugstore or even a supermarket.

v Use whitening gel. Find an ADA-approved gel to use on your teeth and read the instructions to understand the process of using a whitening gel. Then, brush the gel onto your teeth with a small brush, just as you normally would -- for at least two minutes. Then, spit out the remaining gel and rinse out your mouth until the gel is gone.

v Use whitening toothpaste. Make sure the toothpaste is ADA approved before you purchase it. ADA-approved whitening toothpastes whiten your teeth by gently removing their surface stains through polishing, chemical chelation, or other processes that do not require bleach. You can find many of these toothpastes over the counter.

v You're going to brush your teeth for at least 2-to-5 minutes, 2-to-3 times a day to make your teeth whiter

v Avoid foods or beverages that stain your teeth. Where possible, you may be able to prevent further staining by making some lifestyle changes. This includes stopping all smoking, and reducing your consumption of tannin-containing beverages –– soda, coffee, red wine and tea all contain tannins. In some cases, you can help keep tannin drinks away from your teeth by drinking them with a straw (do not drink hot liquids through a straw).
